01DTE or Digital Technologies in this subject you will learn the creative aspect of Digital technologies. Your creativity in the arts, such as drawing, making music, video creation and other media outcomes will be enhanced and put to good use. It is aligned with the Ministry of Education and NZQA’s Hangarau Matihiko.
Achievement standards are UE approved and students may have the option to gain credits from unit standards. This will provide you a flexible and inclusive learning opportunities. This is a project-based and industry connected learning that includes:

Course Overview
Term 1
Programming:
In this task, you will be creating a quiz about a pakiwaitara to share with your classmates.
You will learn how to use Python in a fun and relevant manner.
Term 2
Develop a Digital Outcome: Web Design or a Graphic Novel
Term 3
Human-Computer Interaction
Learn and apply what makes an excellent visual and interactive computer design using Human-Computer Interaction.
Think Tik-Tok, Instagram and YouTube
Term 4
External: Report on your on what you've learned.
Candidates will be required to complete a report based on a portfolio they develop while designing a digital technologies outcome. The portfolio is not submitted for assessment.
Candidates are not required to create a digital technologies outcome for this standard.
