Level 1 Art Photography Design
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss E. Sainsbury.
Students will develop skills in photography, typography and design. These skills will be used to complete a design and photography portfolio in the second half of the year.
In Photography, students will learn how to use a Digital Single Reflex Camera (DSLR) in its technical parameters and creative manner. They will learn how to edit and enhance their photographs. They will also create their own still-life set up and may exhibit these in our annual Art Week.
In Design, students will learn about the graphics, typography and design processes to complete two dimensional design outcomes. They will also get the opportunity to learn Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Recommended Prior Learning
Open Entry.
Students may not take 01ART as well.
