Level 1 Design and Visual Communication
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss E. Prior.
Students will work towards a years project with sub-briefs. They will investigate graphic design through both 2d and 3d outcomes. Students will develop digital skills with creative suite software as well as open-source software and practical skills such as freehand sketching and rendering. .
They will research and use an influential designer to help them create a product and or spatial design. Students will also research and create orthographic drawings looking at appropriate architectural and planning for the site.
This course will suite students wanting to study architecture or graphic design.
