Level 2 Art Design
Course Description
This course combines drawing and computer skills within a practical approach to design.
Students will have the choice to either work towards a variety of designs for their own brand including a logo, poster, and other promotional material or choose a program that follows more of an illustrative path including character design.
Students will learn to competently use Photoshop and Illustrator and will look at creating and applying ideas within the design process and create a folio of work.
Students will also have the opportunity to gain 4 level 3 credits in Design in preparation for level 3.
Recommended Prior Learning
Having taken 01ART or 01DVC would be beneficial
