Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Casey.
Level 2 Physics continues from Level 1 Science (01SPC and 01SBP). Topics include Mechanics and Nuclear Physics, and covers research practical investigation skills. The Mechanics and an Optional Electricity topic are assessed in an external exam, worth 6 credits each.
It is highly recommended that you have Level 1 Science including the Mechanics External (AS90940) and a strong background in Mathematics to be successful in 02 Physics.

Recommended Prior Learning
Level 1 Science and strong skills in Mathematics are required, particularly geometry and algebra. Students should consider taking a Level 2 Mathematics course.
