Level 2 Samoan

The Year 12 Samoan language programme is a 23 credit course (includes the Level 3 Presentation standard) which incorporates more cultural and respectful linguistic skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing. Students are exposed to a variety of texts in the target language from media clips, music and literary resources. Students who enroll into Level 2 Samoan should be fluent and communicate with ease. With these standards, students will be required to contribute evidence of work to a portfolio over the course of the programme.

Achieved in all internal assessments and attempted both externals in Level 1 Samoan or HOLA approval.
Total Credits Available: 23 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 10 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 13 credits.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
