Level 3 Music

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Randle.

Music is a University approved subject. Each student will select their course - in consultation with the HOLA Music - from the following areas of learning:

Performance, solo or group, Composition, Arranging, Aural Skills, Harmonic Procedures, Music Works, Contexts of Music and Research and Music Technology (by request).

Regular attendance at instrumental lessons is required along with commitment to school co- curricular ensembles as appropriate. From the standards available most students will choose a course of 16-24 credits.

Recommended Prior Learning

At least 14 credits in Level 2 Music or at the discretion of the HOLA Music.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

An instrument at home is beneficial.
