Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs T. Lockwood.

Pasifika Literature is a course that is designed to offer students the chance to follow the English program but with writers and directors of Pasifika identity who create works in English. This course offers both Reading and Writing Literacy credits.

You will study written and visual texts and examine the way the authors and directors present ideas through a Pasifika lens. You will engage with film, a variety of text types and have the option to complete a writing portfolio.  Level 3 English demands analysis of language and literature, and requires critical thinking.
