Year 10 Art Illustration and Design
Course Description

Year 10 Art with Illustration and Design allows students to develop and extend the drawing and design skills learnt in Year 9. Students will look at a series of units throughout the year covering different elements of illustration and design. These include character design, illustration, automata design and laser cutting, and a collaborative illustrated book / graphic novel project that we will look to do as a whole class. Students will have the opportunity to gain four credits towards Level 1 NCEA. This course is suited for those students who wish to pursue design, illustration, and digital arts.
