Year 10 Media Studies
Course Description
The course offers students the opportunities to study and complete practical and theoretical activities. We study stop motion animation and undertake a study of either comedy, horror or action film genre. This course is designed for students who are creative, enjoy using technology and have an interest in media (especially film & television). The course leads to senior Media Studies which involves a strong writing element.
What do we get to do?
- Genre study
- Explore camera shots, angles and story board your own idea for a short film
- Make a stop motion short film from your story board
- Write a film review on a film of your choice
