Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Perks

A practical based course which investigates the different areas of food technology, including nutrition, food product development, safe food handling and foods from different cultures. The course has a minimum of 3 units covered and students learn a range of skills and cooking methods to develop their understanding of this subject and develop their confidence in the kitchen.  It is intended to give students a good foundation for senior courses in Food or Hospitality and Catering.
