Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Perks

A practical based course which investigates the different areas of food technology, including nutrition, food product development, safe food handling and foods from different cultures. The course also looks at how to grow your own food at home and then cook it healthily. It is intended to give students a good foundation for senior courses in Food and Nutrition or in Hospitality and Catering.
