Level 3 Trades Academy Construction Engineering
Course Description

This is a continuation of the Level 2 Trade Academy Construction Engineering course for students who wish to enter the Construction or the Engineering industry.
You will continue studying Construction and Engineering; 2 days at a Tertiary Institution (Construction, Engineering, Logistics, Leadership Skills), one day at the ARA Refurbishment Site (refurbishing old houses) and have a 'Project Day' based in school. In addition, you will study P.E. and Financial Literacy.
The purpose of this programme is to prepare you for employment as an apprentice while studying for NCEA Level 3 or move to a Tertiary Institution for further training.
New for 2024 - the opportunity to participate in work experience, in Marine Engineering, leading to employment. (Limited places).
