If you are considering any kind of Health Science career, whether that's a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, nutritionist, psychiatrist, optometrist, pharmacist or anesthetist to name a few, this is the course for you. This course consists of two lines of compulsory Science which will prepare you for the requirements of Level 2 Sciences and beyond.

In both of your Science lines Term 4 is time to prepare for the final assessments of the year (external examination).

Recommended Prior Learning

Students wishing to take 01SCHSA must complete an application form. Every applicant will be interviewed and selections will be made after this. The decision will also be based on student performance and ability in Year 10 as well as student potential. Students interested in 01SCHSA should be considering studying Science at a tertiary level.
