Level 3 Dance
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms M. Ta'e'iloa.
This programme of learning will develop dancers understanding of performance practice and choreographic processes. A variety of opportunities to perform in professional spaces beyond the school environment will be given. Dancers individual creativity and movement vocabularies will also be developed throughout the year.
Recommended Prior Learning
This is an open entry course however students will need to have some Dance experience in order to achieve in this course.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students will have the opportunity to view at least one to two live performances throughout the year. Costs will given closer to the time but usually range between $20 - $30 per performance (including transportation).

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
This course is approved for University Entrance.
Total Credits Available: 18 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 4 credits.
