Level 2 Music
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Randle.
Each student will study a range of music standards: Performance, Composition, Instrumentation, Aural Skills, Reading Music scores and Music Works. From the standards available most students will choose a course of 14-24 credits.
Regular attendance at instrumental lessons is required along with commitment to school co- curricular ensembles as appropriate.
Staff are always willing to look at possible ways to support students and whānau who may require an instrument at home. Please see the HOLA Music for details.
Recommended Prior Learning
Achievement in at least two of AS 91090, AS 91091 or AS 91092. Three years of secondary school music and at least three year's tuition on an instrument or HOLA approval.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
An instrument at home is beneficial.
