Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr R. Casey

Level 3 Physics continues the work covered in level 2. Topics covered are Measurement and Uncertainty, Mechanics, and Light and Waves. In June students can opt to study either Electricity and Electromagnetism external assessment, or an applied aspect of Physics as an internal assessment. Level 3 Physics is an approved subject and is necessary for students intending to take Engineering at tertiary level. It is highly recommended for students wishing study Medicine.

Recommended Prior Learning

Minimum of 12 credits in Level 2 Physics. Students should be taking a Level 3 Mathematics course.
