Level 2 Art Photography
Course Description

A photographer is a professional that focuses on the art of taking photographs with a camera. Photographers use artificial and/or natural lighting to capture pictures of various people, places and things in a variety of settings.
Students will learn how to competently use a digital DSLR camera and how to take effective and artistic photos ranging from still-life to portraiture. Students will use photography as a means of establishing ideas and will produce a folio of work.
Students will also have the opportunity to complete a 4 credit level 3 standard in photography in preparation for level 3.

Digital SLR Cameras are recommended but are also available for student use.
