Student subcourses for Mathematics will be decided by the Head of Learning for Mathematics in consultation with you and your teacher. The decision will be based on your performance and your ability shown in Year 10.
There are three subcourses:
01MAT (Mathematics) will study 5 standards of which two are internal (91026 Numeric Reasoning and 91032 Rightangled triangles), two external (91028 Tables, Equations, Graphs and 91037 Chance and Data) and the fifth is the MCAT (91027 Algebra sat internally in September).
This course will have a total of 19 credits.
01MAI (Mathematics Internal) will study 5 standards of which four are internal (91026 Numeric Reasoning ; 91029 Linear Algebra; 91035 Multivariate Data; and 91038 Probability) and the fifth is the MCAT (91027 Algebra sat internally in September).
This course will have a total of 18 credits.
01MAG (Mathematics General) will study 5 standards, all of which are internal (91026 Numeric Reasoning ; 91029 Linear Algebra; 91035 Multivariate Data; 91036 Bivariate Data; and 91038 Probability).
This course will have a total of 17 credits.
