This is a great introductory course that can be used to explore future course choices in the Technology and Trades Academy Learning Areas. The course covers both Construction and Engineering therefore increasing your option choices for Level 2 courses.This course provides an introduction to the skills used in the Construction and Engineering industries in preparation for Level 2 Technology Construction Engineering or the Level 2 Trades Academy. It is a mainly practical based course and credits are gained by successfully completing several projects and accompanying theory booklets. Students will also learn about the design process.

This is a great course for students who enjoy working with their hands and making projects from wood and metal.
