Demystifying the Universe

The Universe is a big place. If you have always wanted to learn to use a telescope to explore the night sky then this waananga is for you. If you want to see the planets for yourself and learn from guest astronomers then this waananga is for you. If you want to try fun astronomy practicals and explore the answers to your questions about the Universe. What's inside a black hole? How are stars born? Is there life on other planets? And how do we know? Then this waananga is for you. Course offers 4 credits towards NCEA Level 1 OR Level 3 depending on year group.This waananga may offer a trip to Stardome. This course will be running in Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4.
