Creative Writing

Hopefully, you'll be able to de-stress in this group. This Waananga group is about using your creativity to write. You will be encouraged to both 'read' and 'write.' This will involve writing poems, short stories, and scripts. It will encourage you to use your ideas and share; as well as collaborate with others. A focus will be on learning to write narratives - editing; bringing to conclusion with twists. A focus may be on poetic writing, especially the shorter form. Where applicable your stories may be able to be used to gain NCEA Credits and we can discuss this with your English teachers. This course will be running in Term 1, Term 2, Term 3 and Term 4.
