A practical based course which investigates the different areas of food technology, including nutrition, food product development, safe food handling and foods from different cultures. The course covers a range of skills and cooking methods, to develop their understanding of this subject and develop their confidence in the kitchen. It is intended to give students a good foundation for senior courses in Food or Hospitality and Catering.

This course starts you on your journey to studying 'Food' related subjects at University or any of the hundreds of jobs in Cafes, Hotels and the Food Industry.
